13th Annual BBQ, Blues & Bluegrass

BBQ, Blues & Bluegrass is an annual event held by the Community Center of South Decatur.  BBB was founded by the Decatur Preservation Alliance in the year 2000 and is growing strong.  Their goal is to raise money for the community of Decatur. Organizations that participate include Decatur Active Living, Community Center of South Decatur and Oakhurst Neighborhood Association.  This year Decatur is celebrating its 13th Annual Blues, BBQ and Bluegrass on Saturday, August 17th. The cost of entry is $10 which includes 6 hours of music and all proceeds from food and beer go to the community, but don’t fret, the cost of beer isn’t your normal $6-$10 cup. At this event you can get beer for $4 and a plate of BBQ ranging from $5-$10.

BBB is continuing to add more bands to their schedule as we speak so to keep up with their event check out their Facebook page.
