King of Pops wants to tell Atlanta "Thank you" by giving us a field day and making us feel like a kid again. Moon walks, carnival games, ice pop eating contest, tournament dunk tank, sack races, egg toss and alot more. For the second year in a row, King of Pops is hosting a field day at the Masquerade Music Park this Sunday October 21st, 2012 from 12:00pm-8:00pm with free entry and free pops! Food trucks will be located at the park to satisfy your hunger: Pallookaville, Yumbii, Good Food Truck, Fry Guy and Mix'd Up.
KOP 's pushcart has a constantly rotating menu, but most are seasonal ingredients so they are only available for a a limited time. Flavors range from sweet and sour: pineapple, blackberry, mango and lemon; to astringent: coconut, papaya, banana, apple and pear. Even a few coffee and spicy flavors.
KOP's mission is to provide an ecologically, fresh, all natural frozen treat in a fun neighborhood environment. Their goal is to be a waste free environment. All fruit waste goes to community gardens and other supplies are recycled. KOP strives to throw away less than one bag of trash per week.
